When asked to specify what kind of woman she is musically, what kind of musical harmonies she likes to wear, what musical flavors and fragrances she relishes, Diana Levi declares that she is a searching artist. As one who adores a heavy base and journeying into dub, but also jazz improvisations, she found herself on the Polish sound system scene. It does not mean, as it should not, that this is where her journey ends. Love for music, which she first absorbed with her mother’s milk, is after all like getting to know oneself and our surroundings – the world, which is vast when it is not thwarted by any limitations or set habits. This attitude brings forth openness and this is why Diana does not close herself in the tight confines of any genre. She searches, tastes, observes, learns, combines and builds, and as a consequence, a place of comfort and safety emerges amidst this cosmic vastness; a place in which she can feel at home, a place where she can express herself. The artist is the author of all her lyrics and composes some of the melodies. As a vocalist she emerged and can be heard in productions of Polish and foreign producers.
